Nutrition Club of the college conducted a survey on "Food Service Management at Santosh Dhaba Restaurant , 'The Roof Top Dhaba' on September 20, 2023. The team of Santhosh Dhaba gave a warm welcome to our students and responded to the questionnaire in a friendly manner. They coorerated with the students and with a lots of patience they have shown the kitchen, storage room and allowed the students to observe the layout and raw materials storage, packaging and sorting of cooking essentials. One of the chef demonstrated various types of cutting used for garnishing and cooking style. Students came to know the history of Santosh dhaba, branches and the strategies etc.Students enjoyed a lot in tasting variety of dishes, especially Signature dish paneer tikka and veg Manchurian. Each dish has unique taste and flavour. Finally students analyzed the data like menu categories, type of service, payment mode and the techniques used to manage the sudden rise in prices, electricity, other expenditure incur  etc. The students also met the Restuarant Manager Mr. Jithenda, a deligent person, who gave honest replies to the questions raised by the students. This survey helped to gain a lot of  practical knowledge to the students in the subject.
