About The Event

The Department of Statistics conducted a Poster Presentation to commemorate World Statistics Day on October 17, 2023. The final year  BSC(MSCs) students came up with different  topics like Application of Statistics in everyday life, Fluctuations in the IT Sector, Inflation in Gold Prices,  analysis on the usage of mobile to the population growth etc and presented in a simplest way in the form of posters and charts. This presentation helped the students to gain practical knowledge of the subjects and eased the participants to understand the complex topics  in the easiest and the simplest way through graphs and charts. Ms. Navitha from the Department of statistics is the Coordinator for the session.
